 Television Quote

"I would rather drink a glass of water with a friend

then drink a foe’s honey".

I was watching television last night and saw the above quote, I don’t know who authored it but I thought it was interesting. If you know who authored the quote please let me know.

Have a great day!

Reposting Rhonda Vincent and the Rage a few Gospel Bluegrass songs

I posted this about a week ago but over the weekend somehow my blog has gotten messed up and most of my posts and comments were deleted from my blog. I had a copy of this post and thought I would repost it, I’m off to work I hope you don’t mind the repost.

We (my husband, friends and I) had an awesome time over the weekend at the second Bluegrass festival at Lonesome Acres Park. We saw many Bluegrass bands, some were old favorites and a few we had never seen before at other Bluegrass festivals. The next couple of days I hope to post some of the Bluegrass bands that performed at Lonesome Acres Park playing some of my favorite Bluegrass songs.

I’m starting off with a song I really enjoyed performed by Rhonda Vincent and the Rage "You don’t love God if you Don’t Love your Neighbor". I had never heard this song before, I think it has a good message that everyone can learn from.

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage You don’t love God if you Don’t Love your Neighbor

Next the song "I Will See You Again" it’s beautiful and will probably bring tears to your eyes. Two very different beautiful Bluegrass songs, a side note Rhonda Vincent is a blond as in the video below.

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage – I Will See You Again

Have a great day!

 Blogstream problems

Having problems with my blog, I don’t know what is going on I tried to post a post this morning and somehow the post I was posting got mixed in with my previous post. I tried and tried to fix the problem but only made things on my blog worse, first I tried editing the post but the new posting didn’t show up in editing. Then I tried to remove the post and the post deleted and the post I was trying to post moved down to the previous post below.

Thinking I had accidentally deleted the post I tried again making sure I clicked on remove the post but again the post and comments deleted and the post I had been trying to post ended up in the previous post below it. The more I tried to fix my blog the worse my blog became, my comments were all deleted and all my blog was deleted or is just plain gone now. What is left on my blog is a post I posted a few days ago and mixed in with it is the post I was trying to post today. It was like the post I had tried to post kept moving down to the previous post below it and it didn’t show up in the edit so I couldn’t delete it. I made a copy of the Bluegrass Strangers post before I tried to remove it, the post and comments deleted too so I re-posted it using the copy I had made. Also Im able to post new posts but the rest of my blog pages and comments are gone.

I think something very funny is going on with blogstream, as I know something very similar to this happened to Katie’s blog last weekend and fellow bloggers are leaving blogstream because of people getting into their blogs and messing with them. I pray that no one messed with my blog and I hope I have messed up my blog somehow myself.

I thought just maybe my background codes might have messed with the youtube video codes so I changed my background back to the blogstream standard background, thus making my blog even worse. My blog was half black and on the right side of my blog page and on the left side were the words the photobucket image or video has been removed repeated with blue lines running into the black on the right side of my blog. Although I really didn't think it could be a problem with my background codes I thought it was worth a try.

I will try to answer the comments I have in my blogstream e-mail account as soon as possible, for now I’m taking a little break it’s very upsetting to think someone might have broken into my blogstream and or photobucket account. If anyone knows or has an ideal of what I might have done to mess up my blog like this please let me know.

Thank you and
Have a great weekend!

 Got Grass!

My apology for not answering my comments and visiting your blogs, I have been sick with some kind of flu bug or stomach virus. I hope to answer comments and catch up on your blogs this evening after work.

A few more Bluegrass bands that played at the Lonesome Acres Park Bluegrass Festival last weekend. I got the video’s from youtube maybe next year I’ll have a set up were I can post my own videos. I am surprised and impressed that youtube has many Bluegrass bands and songs on the web site. If you like Bluegrass music and if there are some local Bluegrass festival’s near you (big or small) please go enjoy the music and support your local Bluegrass bands, you will have a great time.

By now I’m sure most know I like my Bluegrass music, I also like rock-n-roll and head - banging heavy metal too! I guess you could say I like all kinds of music from folk music to rap and every kind of music in-between, too many kinds of music to name.

Stay turned I’ll be posting more Bluegrass bands that played at the Lonesome Acres Park Bluegrass Festival as soon as I get a chance to. I hope you enjoy the youtube videos below.
